Why is Thanksgiving so important for your family?
Having spent a number of years in New York as a student, I have always celebrated Thanksgiving. However, it is in more recent years that the tradition has really resonated with my family, especially my father. I think it is because it is rarer and rarer that we are all in one room sharing a dinner together and it reinforces how special family is and how we should be grateful for all the love and happiness we have in our lives.
What is the biggest challenge of the day?
I don’t know if this is the case with other families but my children absolutely adore Turkey legs. I have to cook extra legs just to keep the peace!
It would have to be traditional sage and sausage stuffing! Just delicious.
